Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is an American actress and producer best famous for the roles she was in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The TV show The Mentalist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer who is active in films theater and television. Her acting career started in the theater. Later, she was a part of several television shows, independent films and mainstream movies. Her biggest success came as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico as well as on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes. In both roles, she received critical acclaim and various nominations and prizes, including the Television Critics Choice Award for the Best Actress. The actress made her professional debut with the character Ariel In The Tempest in 1995. Some stage credits are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. Her film career is best recognized for movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. In addition, she's famous for her part in the crime drama series on ABC, High Incident.
