Shailene Woodley is an American actress and activist. The film The Descendants, she played Alexandra King, an addicted teenager. In the wake of her stellar performances in The Descendants, she came to the stage with a variety of other roles that displayed her ability to effortlessly play challenging roles. Shailene has earned a prestigious position in the industry at a young age that is an impressive accomplishment. Her career began with TV and commercials, but she soon moved into Hollywood film roles.
