
Colson Baker (born April 22 in 1990) is an American rapper and singer. He is also well-known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) as a songwriter, actor as well as a performer. Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born on April 22nd, 1990) is popular for his hybrid style of hip hop. The debut album entitled Lace Up (2012 and peaking at 4th place on the US Billboard 200), featured his hit single "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his second and third albums. The latter featured the smash hit single "Bad Things" which was sung by Camila Cabello. The song peaked at number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) was a rap-oriented album. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. This album marked an abrupt departure from hip hop , and was a step into the world of pop punk. It was a top-ranked album on Billboard 200 and was the only rock album to reach the same rank. The hit single "My Ex's Best Friend" was also able to climb to number 20 on the Hot 100. The album also achieved the same commercial success following the release of the sequel, Mainstream Sellout (2022).Machine Gun Kelly had his first major role in the romantic comedy Beyond the Lights (2014) Then he appeared in the techno-thriller Nerve (2016), the horror Bird Box (2018), the comedy Big Time Adolescence and was the lead character Tommy Lee in the biopic The Dirt (both 2019)
